KITCHEN DESIGN GREENFIELD, CT
This Greenfield Hills estate renovation took place after the house experienced a flood from second floor pipe breaking over the winter. The weekend house is used rarely in the winter months so when the damage was discovered a new kitchen was number one on the “To Do List” to be ready for summer entertaining. The space remained the same as well as locations of major appliances. The renovation was a chance for the client to introduce a few of the things she loved from her recently renovated kitchen in NYC; such as luxurious 2’ thick Calcutta Gold Marble countertops, custom handcrafted and hand-painted cabinetry and thoughtful storage not present in the old kitchen. The crisp white kitchen is accented with old world predominantly red oriental runners and classic red woven French bistro café stools and chairs that accompany the large round dining table overlooking the gardens.
